Causes of pigment spots
Genetic predisposition, hormonal causes, age and, above all, exposure to sunlight facilitate the development of pigment spots. This is due to melanin which is stored in the skin in the form of pigment spots following increased sun exposure. These are harmless in most cases. However, we still recommend always checking with an expert that any changes in skin are benign. After all, skin cancer is very treatable within its early stages.
